Electricity Project Details...

Bonjour! There is no need to work on your Science project at home. Some students asked if they could do some work at home. Yes, they can if they wish but sufficient time is given at school for all to complete! In case you do want to do a bit of work at home, I posted a link to our checklist below... and, there are more details on the copy shared with you on your Google drive. As always, if you have questions, ask!! :-)  M.K.

French Test Results!

Bonjour les étudiants et étudiantes!

Results from the French test were handed out to students today, Mon.January, 25th. You do not need to hand them back in, but please take a moment to look at the results. Also please discuss with your child the answer he or she provided to the last question concerning the amount of time studied. Out of 25 students who wrote the test, 15 received a grade of B+ or higher for the first part and 13 students achieved a grade of B+ or higher for the second part. Students who took the time to review the study sheet shared two weeks ago did very well. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me.  Merci! M. Kennedy

Homework, from Jan.11th to . Jan. 20th. Les Conjugaisons!

Bonjour les étudiants!

We have been working on conjugaisons of verbs in class. There is a test on Wednesday, Jan. 20th in the afternoon. Look at the ''Conjugaisons Test Preparation'' document shared with you in your Hapara folder to prepare yourself for the test. We went over it carefully all together today.

Review this document carefully. If you do some review and practice for 20 minutes four evenings this week and on Monday and Tuesday of next week, there is no reason you should not 'ACE' this test!

Ideas for study:
-Look at the examples of questions provided. The same kind of questions will be asked in the test. Test yourself!
-Have someone help you out and ask you questions.
-Study with a partner. Try and come up with 10 questions on your own and answer them!
-Use a white board (or lined paper) to copy the Mr&Mrs Vandertramp list or any other part.
-Visit www.conjugaison.com and look at many different verbs and check out the endings of these verbs for Indicatif: présent, passé composé, futur simple et imparfait.
-Check out this website (and short video about using être or avoir in passé composé): How-To-Conjugate-French-Verbs
-Practice playing French verb games, click on the link: French Verb Games

If you don't understand something it is very important that you ask questions in class. I am here to help you succeed.  Bonne chance! M. Kennedy
